- We having been learning all the new fourth grade classroom routines and procedures.
- We have been really focusing on Model Drawing in Math in hopes that it will help us successfully solve word problems all year long!
- In Comprehension, we have been learning about the different types of text structure and focusing on comparing and contrasting.
- In Science, we are learning about vertebrates and invertebrates and all of their different characteristics.
- We have been listening to Mrs. Gish read one of her favorite books, Indian in the Cupboard. It is so good that some students even decided to check it out from the library and finish on their own! Be sure to ask about it.
Also, last week in Science we had a lot of fun learning about the scientific process. We got to do many different experiments and then write down our hypotheses, observations, and conclusions.
Lastly, a big thank you to those who generously donated classroom supplies! We sure do appreciate the help and support!
